We provide OPTIONS, not OPINIONS.

New patient appointments, consultations, and second “opinions” are different at 450 Aesthetics. The goal of this first appointment is to EDUCATE you about your OPTIONS so that you can make the best decisions regarding dental care.. Our treatment recommendations are based on your individual goals, limitations, and risk factors. The result is a PERSONALIZED plan to help you attain your dream smile, establish optimal function, and maintain your oral health. We'd like to include a list of what happens at a new patient appointment. Our consultation appointment includes:

  • A review of your medical and dental history
  • Data collection
    • A full Set of 2D and 3D x-rays
    • An intraoral 3D modeling scan
    • High-resolution photos
  • A comprehensive dental exam
    • Oral cancer screening
    • Gum health assessment
    • Tooth health assessment
    • Bite analysis
    • Aesthetic assessment
  • Data assessment
  • A personalized health plan

We Educate

You can expect a boutique dental experience focused on getting to know you and your oral health. After a detailed analysis of your oral health and an understanding of your smile goals, we’ll present treatment plans and smile designs based on our science-based approach to comprehensive care and our commitment to artistic aesthetic dentistry.

You Decide

Rather than blindly doing what we recommend, we’ll give you all the options and answer any questions you may have. It’s your smile. We are just here to serve you and help you meet your goals.

FAQ’s

I recently took x-rays. Can I bring in my own x-rays? I don’t want to take any x-rays. Do I have to take new ones?

Sending us any past X-rays is helpful and encouraged, but unfortunately, we have seen too much variation in the quality of X-rays taken at other dental offices. In order to provide you with our best dental recommendations and the most accurate information, we require a new set to be taken at your first appointment.Thankfully, we have the best up-to-date digital technology that not only generates high-quality diagnostic X-rays but also significantly reduces radiation exposure.

I don’t want to take any new x-rays.

We value everyone’s bodily autonomy and your right to make decisions about your own body. Fortunately/unfortunately, we operate at the highest level and deliver our best dental care when we work within the confines of our systems. Outside of a few exceptions (like pregnancy), we require updated x-rays at your first visit.

What’s different about your approach to new patient cleanings?

We believe it’s really important to get a clear picture of your oral health situation (loose teeth, fillings, gum concerns, etc…) before we dive into treatment. That’s why we first perform a comprehensive exam before we determine what kind of cleaning and/or treatment would be best for you.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept any benefit plan that allows you the freedom to choose your own dentist. In fact, over 90% of our patients utilize dental insurance to help pay for their care. We are, however, not contracted with any insurance companies due to the limitations they impose on our patient's treatment options. There are tens of thousands of different dental benefit plans. Please give us a call if you need help understanding how your benefits would work at our office.

We look forward to meeting you.
